ყორჩიბაშვილების ციხის ბურჯი

The Korchibashvili Fortress is one of the four main fortresses, which is included in the development of Telavi and forms the historic center of the city. One of the two surviving towers is destroyed, while the other has a cylindrical shape. At the foot of the tower, built in horizontal rows of large cobblestones, there is a powerful fragment of one of the defensive walls of the fortress, running along the development line. The wall has vertical penetrating cracks along its entire length. The Korchibashvili Fortress is an important structure of the historical and architectural memory of the city and their artistic and architectural value is high when assessing the cultural heritage of the city.
