ქვის დაბალ ცოკოლზე მდგარი, სიგრძივ ღერძზე წაგრძელებული შეულესავი აგურის ერთსართულიანი შენობა ქუჩის საერთო განაშენიანებაში საკმაოდ დიდ პერიმეტრზე იშლება და ჰარმონიულად ეწერება არსებულ ურბანულ გარემოში. ცნობილია, რომ სახლი აშენებულია 1880-81 წლებში ჩათიშვილების (ყაზახაშვილების) მიერ, მოგვიანებით კი მისი მესაკუთრე გახდა „სობოროს“ დეკანოზი, იოანე შიუკაშვილი. ამ სახლში ცხოვრობდა ცნობილი ქართველი მწერალი და კინოსცენარისტი, ზაირა არსენიშვილი. მემორიალურთან ერთად შენობას აქვს მხატვრულ-არქიტექტურული ფასეულობა, იგი მნიშვნელოვანია აგურის წყობაში გამოყვანილი საფასადო დეკორისა და აუთენტური ხის ელემენტების, მათ შორის ხის ორნამენტული ორფრთიანი კარის გამო.
A one-storey brick building, standing on a low stone plinth, elongated along the longitudinal axis, covers a rather large perimeter of the general street development and harmoniously fits into the existing urban environment. It is known that the house was built in 1880-81 by Chatishvilebi (Kazakhashvilebi), and later the archpriest of “Soboro” Ioane Shiukashvili became its owner. The well-known Georgian writer and screenwriter Zaira Arsenishvili lived in this house. Along with the memorial, the building has artistic and architectural value. The building is important for its facade decor made in brickwork and authentic wood elements, including wooden ornamental two-leaf door.
