სიგრძივ ღერძზე წაგრძელებული შეულესავი აგურის ერთსართულიანი შენობა ორგანულადაა მორგებული დამრეც რელიეფს და ჰარმონიულად ეწერება არსებულ განაშენიანებაში. აგურის წყობით დეკორირებული თავდაჭერილი ფასადი და მოკრძალებული მასშტაბი კარგად გამოხატავს თელავური არქიტექტურის კამერულ ხასიათს. შენობა მე-19 საუკუნის ბოლო ნახევარშია აგებული. 1880-1964 წლებში ამ სახლში ცხოვრობდა ცნობილი ჟურნალისტი და საზოგადო მოღვაწე ივანე პაატაშვილი. მემორიალურთან ერთად შენობას აქვს მხატვრულ-არქიტექტურული ფასეულობა, იგი მნიშვნელოვანია მოხდენილი პროპორციისა და აგურის წყობაში გამოყვანილი საფასადო დეკორის გამო.
A one-storey brick building, elongated along the longitudinal axis, is organically combined with the sloping terrain and harmoniously fits into the existing development. The brickwork facade, and the modest scale well express the character of Telavi’s architecture. The building was built in the second half of the 19th century. In 1880-1964, the well-known journalist and public figure Ivane Paatashvili lived in this house. Along with the memorial, the building has artistic and architectural value. The building is important for its graceful proportions and facade decoration made in brickwork.
