After the loss of the function of the fortress, its towers were used as dwellings. At the end of the 19th century, on one of the towers, a compact, graceful proportions, two-story brick and cobblestone house was built. The circular volume of the castle-tower is divided from the inside into two floors and converted into living rooms. The main part of the first floor is open with a brick arch from the side of the courtyard; and one of its walls attracts attention with a decorative masonry of brick and cobblestone. This wall decorates a window and a door with pointed arch and semicircular frame. The facade is finished with a decorative parapet. The second floor butifies a three arched wooden balcony and openwork railings (renewed recently). Along with the historical value, the urban load of the tower is important, as it is actively involved in the historical landscape of Telavi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>\u10eb\u10d4\u10d2\u10da\u10d8<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1
