To the west of the temple, on a tiled roof, rises a small bell tower typical of Armenian churches. The church is built of Georgian flat bricks on lime mortar and is covered with plastering. The red paint used for decoration is almost completely washed off. The facades are decorated with arche rows and carved in them decorative rhombuses, pointed niches and crosses. The free, high space of the interior is simple, without any decoration. On the walls, there is only a pointed bearing arcade. The church is important because it is one of the few examples of late medieval temple architecture in Georgia; It is one of the important objects of the historical development of Telavi of the 19th
