It is known that the house was built in 1880-81 by Chatishvilebi (Kazakhashvilebi), and later the archpriest of \u201cSoboro\u201d Ioane Shiukashvili became its owner. The well-known Georgian writer and screenwriter Zaira Arsenishvili lived in this house. Along with the memorial, the building has artistic and architectural value. The building is important for its facade decor made in brickwork and authentic wood elements, including wooden ornamental two-leaf
